Excellent fish and chips! Great service too. Even though I turned up 15 minutes before closing time, they fried a fresh cod for me and were super friendly. The fish was superb, fresh, tender, tasty and not greasy, and the chips were great too. I'll be back!

I must say I have eaten in lots of fish n chip shops & the food served in George’s is fantastic. I have been visiting George’s for a few years now & food has always been immaculate & fresh.

5 stars Food was absolutely delicious! The staff were friendly. Only criticism was the saveloy was a bit crunchy but I recon that’s because of the heat lamp. Would come again if in the area

This is our local fish and chip shop, and have used them for a few years now. Never had any problems, and my wife has a couple of vegan options too. Always seems clean and lots of staff working, who are friendly and happy to serve.
